Welcome to the new school website for Saint Joseph's Primary School Ballycruttle and I thank you for taking the time to visit. At Saint Joseph's we pride ourselves on being a warm, welcoming and caring school community that wants and expects the very best for our pupils. We welcome pupils from the parish of Saul and Ballee and the surrounding areas of Ballyalton, Ballyhornan, Ardglass and Downpatrick.

We envisage our website to be a means of communicating with our present pupils and parents, our school community and parish, our prospective parents and to our wider audience both at home and abroad It is also a great opportunity for you to keep up to date with what is going on in school and to comment on any policies we are revising.
Services
St Joseph's Primary School provides a high quality, holistic education for all our pupils so that they can develop their full uniqueness and potential. Preparing pupils to lead fulfilling and purposeful lives, becoming responsible citizens, respectful of diversity, who will contribute positively to the Common Good;.
We have our new School Council Members. They have been working hard and recently organised in conjunction with Food For Life, the Festive Afternoon Tea event in the school which was open to the whole community as well as the family cooking session in P1-3. We now look forward to their next event. The school council organised the recent Festive Afternoon Tea and workshop in conjunction.

Couldn’t recommend this school enough!
If you have a child going to start P1 in September, go have a look at Saint Joseph’s Primary Ballycruttle on Thursday 2nd December at 2:30 - 4:00.
It’s a small school where everyone is nurtured. My children just love going to school and my eldest looks back with the fondest of memories.
