Established in 1986 in Ibstock, Leicestershire, by Janet and Andrew Ward, Holmsdale Manor Nursery, Ibstock, is a superb environment for children. Set in extensive grounds of over 2 acres, and with its own woodland, Holmsdale allows children to develop and learn in a safe but exciting location, which offers opportunities for learning that are second to none.

Services
We are proud that many of our staff are long-serving, including several who have been here over three decades and many who have been here for a decade! One of these staff is Elaine, who has been with us for over 30 years. This year she has been shortlisted for the national "Outstanding Contribution" Nursery World Award.
We believe Holmsdale Manor offers the best nursery facilities in the area. We celebrate our 35th anniversary in 2021, so there has been plenty of time to develop our excellent facilities. The nursery's development is ongoing, we continually monitor and review our facilities to suit the children we have.
I would like to thank the staff especially those in the baby room as my daughter is happy, content and enjoys nursery. The babies have their own outdoor area, which includes an all weather astroturf area, partly covered for access in all weather. In addition, they visit the rest of the nursery grounds.
Children move from the Barn to the Willows at just over a year old, then on to the Lower Brambles at around 2 years old. When a child moves depends on the time of year they were born, their stage of development and their personality. We manage transitions carefully to ensure your child remains settled, offering numerous visits to their new room before officially moving.

What a fabulous nursery, cannot recommend highly enough!! Both of my children absolutely loved it there; amazing, caring staff & great facilities. They played a huge part in helping my children become what they are today. We were so sad to leave last year when moving away, but feel very lucky to have benefited from their care!
