We are Macrow & Son, an independant jewellers based in Swanage, Dorset, established in 1949. We specialise in investment quality gemstones and bespoke jewellery, as well as stock a vast variety of platinum, gold and silver jewellery. Our diamonds come from jewellery manufacturers as well as direct from site holders so they are all of excellent quality.

We stock D colour diamonds, which feature in many of our rings, earrings and pendants, and are set in traditional and modern designs. As well as the well known Round Brilliant cut, we have a variety of differently cut diamonds including Princess, Emerald and Baguette, as well as the more fancy cuts such as Radiant, Marquise and Pear.

What a gem of a jewellers. We have been using them since 1999. We are based in Oxfordshire and travel whenever we need to purchase jewellery wether its for us or as a gift. They have always been so helpful and never rushed us into a decision and always good a suggesting ideas for gifts. Can't rate them highly enough.

I was so disappointed when I visited my mother yesterday to hear of her experience at Macrow & Son. We have been long term customers with Mr Macrow but it seems that the service from "Son" is far removed from the service his father provided. My mother, a pensioner, had a piece of jewellery repaired less than a month ago and since the repair has broken. Having taken the piece back into the store on Friday she was received by "Son" who told her that break was due to something that she must have done and was not his responsibility to fix again!!! He adamantly refused to fix something that must have
