My journey started when I was 18, helping out a friend in their caf, which lead me to discover my love for cooking and enrolling in college to study catering. Upon graduating from college, myself and my now wife, headed to Val d'lsere to work in a 5* ski chalet. This allowed me to cook 5-star quality food for a variety of guests while enjoying the snow resort surroundings.
Experience our wide range of both big-name brands and local brews; with such a variety of flavours, there's something for everyone! We are constantly changing our selection of real ales on tap offering beer lovers a chance to try something new. More than just beer, we are infusing new life into the traditional pub drinks menu.
Book your next break at the charming Five Bells Inn and stay in one of our five bespoke rooms, each individually decorated and full of character providing you with a comfortable retreat to the country. Whether you're stopping over on a long drive or travelling for business, we have a room that's right for you.

Nice country pub with good parking and garden. Wide selection of beers and ciders. Reasonable priced mains which are huge and good quality which counteracted 3 calamari rings starter. I had the steak and ale suet pudding, very well stuffed with meat, onion and gravy. My friend had a good burger and chips. Good place to go for a country walk before or after your meal.

Low wooden beams, fireplace, great ales, very good food (about £13 for a main), free wifi, clean loos and beer garden including a covered area. But best of all for people with kids, it is adjacent to a common with good play equipment that pleased my 5-year-old and 8-year-old children. A perfect stop to break up a journey on the M4.
