Being small and specialising in the frail but socially-able elderly allows us to make a real difference by tailoring our service to you. As a family-owned care home in Bromley, with more than thirty years experience, we understand that being small and only caring for people with complimentary needs is the only way to ensure the best quality of life for our clients.
Like any big decision, choosing the right care home is a mixture of the emotional and the practical. On the practical side, you want to know you'll be safe and secure, and have the right level of individual, professional help you need. But that's only half the story. It's just as important you like the look and feel of the place that will be your home.

As a family-owned care home in Bromley, with more than thirty years experience, we understand that being small and only caring for people with complimentary needs is the only way to ensure the best quality of life for our clients. This is supported by both research and common sense which shows that being with others who have different care needs causes stress which can adversely affect both our health and quality of life.
Residential care is our mainstay service, and we have been doing it for over thirty years. Because we want you to be happy to call Nettlestead home, the last thing we'll do is impose rules. So just like at home you can come and go as you please, get up, go to bed and eat when you want. We actively encourage visits from friends and relatives, with no time slots or limits.
It's time to leave hospital but too soon to go home, or you just need a bit more support for a while - call us, we're here to help. There are times when we all need a bit more support in our lives. For example we find the elderly sometimes need some help to transition between a hospital treatment and getting back into the full swing of home life.
But, as ever, we want you to judge for yourself, and there's no better way of doing that than by dropping in to see for yourself - so call us to arrange a time that suits you or just pop in. We really do focus everything we do around our clients, but don't take our word for it. Come and see for yourself and then chat in confidence with our clients' relatives to find out what we are really like.
One of the things we think has helped build our strong sense of community is our diverse range of social activities and events. There's always something to look forward to in the diary. To give you and idea of the kind of things we do, the recent list has included darts matches, bingo, exercise classes, yoga and singing lessons.
