We are one of the few working jewellers left in the square mile that actually repair, design and make jewellery on the premises. We also offer insurance valuations, machine and hand engraving, pearl and bead re-stringing, watch straps and a battery replacement service. Our 30 years experience allows us to provide written assessments and valuations for insurance or probate purposes. We are pleased to offer a comprehensive jewellery repair service working in silver and platinum as well as all purities of gold. From re-sizing a ring or a simple chain repair to the alteration or complete rebuilding of your precious item we have the facilities and craftsmanship to oblige.

Took my late Mum's pendant in for cleaning and bought a chain for it for a gift for my sister's for her wedding day. I was treated with kindness and sympathy as I was upset. When I collected it the the work was beautiful, the pendant looked brand new. My sister has not taken it off. Thank you so much x.

Peter is a brilliant jeweller - really skilled and clearly passionate about his craft. I took in a fair few items that needed fixing, polishing, cleaning and resizing. He did all of this quickly and flawlessly. My late grandmother's old gold bracelet from the 50s in particular was almost unrecognisable - truly brought back to life! Will certainly be back in future if needs be.

The service at City of London Jewellers is fantastic. We bought a pair of gold and pearl earrings from Peter and he was so friendly and helpful. The jewellery in store is displayed with such care and there’s a great range on offer. Just so nice to buy from a knowledgeable independent - feels way more personal and memorable.
