All UK cars over 3 years old require a valid MOT certificate by law. But unlike some less scrupulous garages we will only highlight work that is essential in order to pass your MOT. When work is required, everything will be explained to you in terms you can understand and naturally we will estimate all work that does need doing before asking you to authorise repairs.
We pride ourselves in customer care and will aim to do whatever is reasonably possible to resolve an issue. Called at 3.50pm and was told they were very busy but said to bring car down to have a look as I had an oil leak. After diagnosis, fault was on oil pressure switch, part was ordered and arrived quickly. New part was fitted and I was back on the road at 4.45pm. Very efficient professional service and price seemed fair. Had my last two MOT's done here and prices on repairs seem fair

Good price for MOT, just £30. No nonsense or ripping off either. I once failed an MOT at Halfords (shocker). I took it to these lads, they passed it with advisories, and rightly so. Fast work. The only issue would be for disabled drivers, as the car park for the garage is down a rather steep hill. Otherwise, top place for car work.

I chose this place because it had good reviews and was recommended to me. The staff were very friendly when I dropped the car off and picked it up.
Now, I took the car in for an interim service,
I specifically asked them if they could have a look at the brakes while they were at it as there was a grinding noise coming from them..
They told me the brakes were fine but the pads would need replacing in a few months.
When I picked the car up I could still hear the noise. I booked it in to another garage and he had a look. I was told that the front calipers had seized and would need replacing urgently

I’ve been using this garage since I moved to Halifax and today I needed an exhaust fitting. I know this garage is busy and after arranging a time to go down just to look at it. We had it on the ramp and was told he could do a full exhaust change within the hour. It was 4pm when I got there and true to his word we got the parts and it was done in time (including the muffler) also £160 cheaper than a different garage I was quoted from
