Ashdown Day Nursery is a full time day care nursery in the heart of Forest Row located along the A22 and lies on the edge of Ashdown Forest. Set in a tranquil area with its own enclosed garden, surrounded by fields where sheep peacefully graze. Open 51 weeks a year and care for children between the age of 0 to 5 years old. Ashdown day nursery is committed to providing quality childcare and an outstanding environment for families and their children and offer a range of sessions to meet your requirements.

We are an independent, family owned, and family run setting with a natural theme encouraging learning inspired by nature and the Reggio Emilia approach. We are fortunate to be nestled on the edge of the Ashdown forest near the village of Forest Row with great access from the A22.
With the forest on our doorstep we will offer a Forest school to complement our outdoor learning and natural experiences making full use of the fantastic position on the edge of Ashdown Forest.We will be offering full day care from birth all the way to school age in a small, nurturing environment with an option to book an early drop off and a late collection.

We value and respect your views and strive to build a close relationship by working together on your child's development journey. We understand that every child is unique and to welcome families we start with a show around the nursery. Once you are satisfied and ready to be part of our nursery family, a key person is appointed to look after your and your child's needs.

All activities and consumables are included in our fees.
The Reggio Emilia Approach views children as capable of acquiring knowledge within themselves through their natural curiosity and creativity. The approach provides hands on discovery learning that allows the child to use all their senses. What they are and become interested in becomes an important element in their own learning process.
My son has been attending for the past six months and I couldn't ask for a better environment for him. The staff are wonderful, caring, attentive and skilled at engaging and guiding the children. The environment is lovely its clean, bright, organised and safe with a wonderful outside space. All tucked away from the main road with great parking access for drop off and collection too.
