I just returned from a weekend retreat at the Harben House Hotel. I really enjoyed my weekend, the staff were really lovely, they would do anything for you if they were able. Sam the chef prepared some beautiful meals and I enjoyed every one if them. I have never eaten so much before. I was in an Executive room which was comfortable and clean. The only problem was the ant festation. The hotel had a one way system with lifts either up only or down only. I am looking forward to my September retreat in the Harben House Hotel again in September

Very very very unclean, bedroom looked like there was spunk up the wall, ants everywhere, hairs in bed, absolutely filthy hole of a place. Charged £40 for breakfast even though it was only continental, with cold toast. Lobby looked nice with its "multi million" pound refurb! But that needs spending on a decent cleaner and a paint job!

The staff were amazing - nothing was too much trouble for any of them. The food was excellent! Congrats go to Sam for providing us with the most delicious and varied menu all weekend.

Absolutely awful standard room. Very little room to move, a sliding frosted door for the toilet (with a small sink) then shower separate. Due to a separate shower all condensation has made drip marks all over the wall. Didn't stay due to being so appalled by being in the room for 10 minutes

Pleasant atmosphere rather bijou rooms but hey alright for sleeping in breakfast rather limited but OK, free parking on site which is always a bonus for the price would go back again.

Great afternoon tea but I didn't realise my friend was a fussy eater. I know she is not allergic to anything. So check the menu. Beautiful setting and a complete surprise of how it looks inside. Our 1st outing since lockdown. We were the only ones there but that was perfect for us both! Very friendly staff. The only reason for not giving full stars is due to the ants we became aware of. Not the fault of staff on the day but should have been noticed beforehand. Thank you for a lovely afternoon 😊
