Stayed here in December 2021 for a few days over Christmas, with every aspect of our visit exceptional. The hotel's facilities and food quality all out of this world fantastic. But what really stood out was the staff. Super helpful at all times and always smiling, including with each other. Just awesome. Well done to the amazing Runnymeade team, can't wait to return!

Where do I begin, booked the Christmas package and have had a wonderful stay from Christmas Eve through to Boxing Day!!! The room was lovely, the food was consistently exquisite (a particularly highlight was the poached salmon).
And the staff, all incredibly friendly, attentive and helped make the stay even better. Anna and Davey particularly stood out, regularly engaging in conversation with us while ensuring we were always well looked after, but every staff member we spoke to across the weekend was just brilliant!!!
The hotel is just stunning. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. This

Fantastic massage for my mother and I. Had some lunch after in the main lounge. Lovely gluten free sandwiches. Only gripe is the low level seating are not comfortable for eating and drinking.
Staff are really helpful and cheery despite a very busy lunch service.

I cannot fault our time there. A wonderful stay at the Runnymede. Warm welcome from the check in staff.. all our questions answered as we were there as part of a large function. Information given that we didn't need to ask for. Love the bar near reception..James served us and stood out. Excellent customer service. Had a standard double room. It was spotless. Bigger than expected with large bathroom. Huge bed..incredibly comfortable. Food at the function was fabulous. Breakfast had a wide selection and good quality. Huge thank you to all the lovely staff.

The hotel was a lovely place to stay and comfortable but I found the staff a little bit distant towards the guests I went for breakfast at 7am there was me and two other people eating, there was about 6 staff on the serving floor I asked for a take away cup to get to work she said OK then went off to carry on chatting away with her fellow workers. In the end I went for the cup my self. And it's a good job I was up for 7 because I had the cleaner banging the walls with the hoover outside my room.

We went to the restaurant ( Lounge) Really nice. Easy parking. Superb ambience. The outdoor terrace overlooks the river, Service was nice (order via the app). The food was lovely - we had scones and club sandwich ( which came toasted)with generous portions well served in good crockery with proper thick cotton napkins. Coffee was OK, but tea was nicely brewed. A great experience. Would definitely recommend and will visit again.

We had afternoon tea at the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was very tasty, and the champagne was top notch.
The best part though, as most people will say, is the location - a beautiful spot by the Thames. The weather wasn't the greatest, but we still went outside, and it was worth it. The views are brilliant, and watching the bustle on the river is a wonderful backdrop. Highly recommended

My husband and I spent our first wedding anniversary here and had an AMAZING experience! Andy at the front desk was so helpful and accommodating with our last minute reservation (delayed flight situation) and we had a wonderful time. The spa/pool area is great, the showers in the rooms are perfect, and the hotel restaurant (The Lock Bar and Kitchen) had some of the best lamb I've ever eaten. After a truly awful day dealing with airlines and delays, this was a wonderful respite. Definitely coming back!

The room are comfortable, the bar (reasonably) well stocked and the food is really quite good.

I've just finished lunch, it was very very nice.

No, actually lunch was bloody amazing.... you may not be able to tell but i started this review 2 weeks ago and am now coming back to it. Lunch was served in the main restaurant which i hadn't experienced before ( we usualy only have finger food during meetings here).

....anyway, I've stayed here a few times over the last few years, breakfast is noteworthy, worth the trip.

They have a gym and spa, i have never been to either so cant

This ia one of the best places I've ever stayed. It is a full on hotel and spa. The hotel is right on the river. Its is close to town and yet feels very much separated from town.

The restaurants are amazing. There is a breakfast buffet where you have to restrain yourself from eating one of everything. The selection is large and the quality of the meals are fantastic. There is a dinner buffet as well with the same quality. That said that is not the best about this hotel.....

The beat part is the staff...they are all very professional, yet perfectly personally engaged. I met several

Great river view room along with comfortable sized room and amenities. Very quiet which I loved. Great bar gathering area for drinks with colleagues. Love the walking path along the Thames and watching the boats and lockes.

I've been to this hotel many times for meeting, but I only managed to stay here when attending a wedding.

The hotel has a beautiful setting on the banks of the Thames. It is just outside Egham in Surrey. It is just minutes away from Windsor and is very close to Heathrow Airport. It has plenty of grounds an although it's set off a busy roundabout. The hotel grounds at the rear are really scenic.

The reception area was really busy when I arrived, and the hotel seems to be hosting several functions. I think it is mainly a business and conference hotel during the week, with special packages

Avoid this hotel if at all possible - between mold on the sheets, a bug infestation in the room, the finicky shower that alternates between scalding hot and lukewarm without being touched, and worthless AC: stay far far away. Beyond overrated.

Stayed here on the night of our wedding. Excellent service (checking us in at 1am in full wedding celebration mode with good grace and congratulations) . The room was lovely, nice views over the river and breakfast in bed delivered at the right time and was wonderful.

Gluten and dairy free catered for in the restaurant and a lovely touch in a complimentary plate delivered with coffee of fruit and dark chocolate truffles with 'congratulations' spelt out in chocolate (it was sweet and romantic) . Spa was fine, pool lovely and empty and the grounds simple but leading to a lovely walk down

We came here for lunch on Saturday. Mother in law and Father in law were staying the night and we left the cat in their room. The lunch takes a buffet format but is not like a typical restaurant buffet in that it has a much wider range of choices with more interesting dishes. To start, I had some seafood salad with some smoked salmon, and then smoked duck salad with paprika and fennel with beetroot humus. For main course, I had some pork belly with apple sauce with sprouts and sweet potato with leeks, then venison stew. The food was nice but not amazing, unfortunately the dishes that sounded the

An extremely pleasant hotel which I have used many times for conferences and meetings which is conveniently located near the motorway. You can book a Thames boat from here too-with dinner. There is also a fabulous spa. The conference facilities are excellent and the hotel is clean and efficient. I have also been a wedding guest here and found the hotel was experienced in the smooth running of these type of events. Highly recommended. However watch out because the restaurants all shut early at 10pm and you can end up just eating a sandwich at the bar..

From the States, 25+ years international, 6+ years in the UK. I love this place. On the Thames river - and yes sometimes it floods. New renovation makes it even better while retaining excellent service and charm. Not like the sterile Heathrow airports. Proper afternoon tea and comfortable lobby area.

As a visitor to UK, I have been in plenty of hotels. This was one of the more modern oneI have been at in a while.

Location - On the thames. view of the river. what more can you ask for. 5 miles from LHR, 1 minute off the motorway, 10 minutes from Windor and 5 minutes from Ehgam or Staines. What more could you ask for?

Parking - Plenty and free.

Ambiance - Very modern. Huge lobby with plenty of area to meet. Must be able to hold 100 people at the many tables and lounges in the meeting area. This is a fantastic designed meeting area and a real genius whoever created it.

Rooms - We were here
