Booked a table for 11 people for Christmas day.
We arrived to our table not even ready for us.Our drink order was not taken for over half an hour.3 of us didnt even have plates or cutlery and had to ask for them after our starters had been served.We literally felt like we were stuck in the corner out of the way.wrong food dishes were brought out for all 3 courses and the tables were not cleared before they brought out the next order.Indian meals were good but the turkey for the roast dinners was so dry it was all left and uneaten.
I would have expected better service as it was Christmas day but

I went to the Purple Olive with my sister and her sons to celebrate her birthday. The atmosphere was a bit lacking, but it was a Wednesday. We were kept waiting for our table although we were on time and there were several vacant tables. When we finally got our table we waited ages before a waiter came to take the drinks order. Waited even longer for someone who would take out food order, and seemed very surprised when we asked him to. The food however was delicious when it finally came, one selection was forgotten. This is a restaurant that has a good menu, serves good tasty food but is very badly

For what you get the price is insane! The food is lovely! And the service is great. Parking outside is a little tight if its busy at hunts Cross but if youblike Indian food definitely go

Excellent meal last night. I had the Katmandu chicken with Jaggery, delicious!
Huge sharer starter portion, vegetarian platter for two, so we each took a samosa home!
Service very good, quick, friendly and helpful.
New and interesting menu. Will definitely return.

Excellent Indian Dining. Mood lighting with great tasting food and very good table service. Only wish I got more photos for this review. You won't be disappointed if you like Indian!
