Services
The business was started in 1991 as Cammo Fine Art. Working from home, in the Cammo area of Edinburgh we sold oil paintings by mail order. This quickly developed into picture framing, with new customers being found by pre-arranged home visits. After about a year a purpose - built workshop was added to the house and customers were invited to visit the premises instead of being visited.
Every item brought in for picture framing is unique, as is the location it will be hanging in. We feel that your picture should be framed considerately for both your decor and the picture. Our highly trained and professional picture framers will often ask you what soft furnishings and furniture you have in the room you intend to hang the item in.
We work closely with artists and photographers throughout Scotland & have developed a reputation for providing quality products in support of their exhibitions. Whether it's something as simple as a few mounts needing cut or a whole exhibition worth of frames - to anything in between, you can be assured of the highest attention to detail and service.
We've been framing since 1991, and in that time we've completed work for numerous businesses, enterprises, schools, colleges, universities, pubs, restaurants, hotels and even have our work hanging in a few castles and stately homes! Small enough to care but big enough to cope, our quality framing service is scalable to your needs.
Grahame is our Object framing Guru, his favourite weapons of choice are melinex, rare earth magnets and piano wire, although we've been known to use many different fully reversible attachment methods to hold things in place. If you have something unusual you are considering having framed, please ask and we can suggest a method to suit.

I received this morning my 2 x pictures from Have it Framed and am delighted.
1-My four grandchildren at ages 3-9 framed up and 2-produced from a Digital phone photograph I took last Christmas at ages 17-23 in identical frame . Staff so very helpful adjusting,sizing and colouring so pictures looked the same and following all COVID-19 guidelines would not hesitate in recommending this family business.

I have used have it framed multiple times for the past few years. All staff are friendly and helpful when doing jobs and excellent and problem solving and provide excellent feedback on making sure the final product looks excellent. They are understanding of tight deadlines and endeavour to work to them as best they can. They have gone above and beyond the call of duty in a couple of my recent jobs and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
