Melanie graduated from Liverpool. She worked as a lead NHS clinician in outpatients before establishing Woolton Physiotherapy in 1991. She has continued to expand her expertise gaining membership of The Society of Orthopaedic Medicine, Acupuncture Association (AACP),B ritish Occupational Hygiene society and has a Diploma in injection therapy.

Melanie manages the provision of Physiotherapy Services for local industry, councils, sporting events and corporate businesses across the North West. We provide a full clinical assessment and diagnosis. Your condition will be fully explained and your treatment options discussed. We use a wide range of manual techniques, electrotherapy, personal exercise and rehabilitation programmes. Spinal Problems - including prolapsed discs, degeneration, sciatica, lumbago, stiff/painful neck, whiplash, joint dysfunction and referred arm and leg pain.
Melanie became interested in providing occupational health services following her work at Fords Motor Company where she spent 10 years providing clinical treatment, assessment, advice and health promotion. Her role often involved assessing the ergonomics and risks involved in different working environments within the plant.
There is growing evidence that physiotherapy can help alleviate and in many cases cure some of the specific issues / conditions women find themselves trying to manage at many different stages of their life. For example: antenatal, postnatal, post-surgical, and menopausal. Most women feel they have to battle on and do not realise that help is available.
