We provide specialist advice on a wide range of issues relating to property (commercial, residential and agricultural), rural businesses, farming and the environment. All of our work is underpinned by our experience and proficiency as lawyers. First and foremost, our clients look to us for specialist advice on what are often difficult and complex areas of law.
Our expertise includes dealing with disputes and providing specialist advice on tenancies under the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 and the Agricultural Tenancies Act 1995. We act for clients on the negotiation and drafting of tenancy agreements and compromise agremeents, including agreements to surrender, compromises of notices to quit and compensation claims.
Our founding partners were at the vanguard of representing farmers in claims arising out of the 2001 foot-and-mouth-outbreak. Since that time, our team has developed a growing expertise in advising livestock farmers, auction markets and industry bodies on the law relating to animal health and welfare.
Since the current Electronic Communications Code came into force our team has developed a growing expertise in advising landowners and developers in respect of both existing and proposed telecommunications sites. It is important to seek advice on the rights and procedures under the Code so as to be able to negotiate successfully with operators.
Our team is recognised for its skill and ability in handling complex and high-value commercial property claims. We advise on the leasing of commercial units and on excluding security of tenure. We also have experience in dealing with the Telecommunications Code and issues arising on the leasing of mobile communications masts.

We purchased a house from their client, due to Gerard being difficult to deal with and unresponsive, plus sitting on information for long periods of time without any communication, it caused a 6 week delay that was avoidable. It turned into a weekly chasing exercise and in the end going directly to their client and using the estate agent was the only way to progress the purchase.
