We can advise you on all aspects of property related matters, from buying or selling residential property to buying a freehold, transfers of equity and commercial property.
Below are answers to some of the questions that we are most frequently asked. If you are planning to move home, or are involved in any type of property transaction, please contact us for advice. Conveyancing is the process of transferring ownership of property or land from one person to another. How long the chain is, that is the number of other transactions linked together.
At Hoole and Co. we are specialists in conveyancing and we deal with many transactions for first time buyers. We understand that buying your first home is a big commitment and we will take the time to ensure that you understand what is happening during the conveyancing process and we will try to keep the legal jargon to a minimum.
Many properties in the UK are leasehold. If you own a property that is leasehold you will be liable to pay ground rent to the landlord on an annual basis. These restrictions can take many forms but common ones which can cause problems are when you want to make changes to your property, such as building an extension, or even smaller changes such as putting up a satellite dish.
Sometimes during the process of moving home, or other property transactions, you will come across a number of legal terms which relate to the conveyancing process. At Hoole and Co. we will always try and minimise the use of jargon, however, when it is unavoidable we are always happy to explain these terms to you.

Worst service from any of "professional" I've received. Mark was very arrogant and not helpful in any respect. Contacted Hoole & Co via their phone number multiple times and arranged to get a signature witnessed in which the chap on the phone said he'd be in on Wednesday and would be happy to do it for £20. Came in and Mark rushed down into a meeting room, said have I arranged a meeting to which I said I hadn't as I was told I could pop in. Further to this he said I should have called him when there is only one phone number advertised and the receptionist stated everyone was in meetings 2 of the

I would advise anyone to use an alternative solicitor, all the care about is their revenue, they do not have the first clue about customer service, rude arrogant and obnoxious and frankly they don’t give a monkeys about service as long as they take your money, would not touch them with a sh1*ty stick, avoid avoid avoid

Hoole & co are amazing. I Had cause to use their services recently, they were the only solicitors l could find that were actually working. ( just after Lockdown)
They were very efficient & friendly, also you don't get ripped off like so many others.
After my experience with them l highly recommended them & will use them in future myself.

Totally not happy with Hoole and Co, I rang up a few weeks ago and spoke to a nice lady who informed me that for the meantime they don't offer help in name changes, however, when ringing up today I spoke to a rather snobby woman, who was quite rude and put me on hold, without my consent. She informed me that they no longer offer this service, despite the fact that their website says they do. What an absolute joke.

Mark Avery was a tremendous help. I bought my house through him many years ago, and sold it with his help recently too. He went above and beyond to help deal with many issues that came up, and resolved them. He was generous with his time. Very knowledgeable about conveyancing and what is essential and what is optional. He is a credit to Hoole and Co.

Mark Avery is a very knowledgeable conveyancer and an expert in this area. Very experienced and reasonably priced. At busy times he can be tricky to get hold of, but rest assured, he is working hard behind the scenes.... He has also been working Saturdays during the really busy periods, so all credit to him. I've also had dealings with Maria Dash both professionally and personally and I can again speak very highly of her service... you may have to wait for a call or email back at times, but they know their job and the local area and the fees are very reasonable...
