In the heart of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds, between Chipping Norton, Stow-on-the-Wold and Burford, Bruern are not just the only luxury cottages in the Cotswolds to welcome guests just as a hotel does - for two nights (sometimes even one) or for eight weeks, both during the week and at the weekend, but are in fact one of the few luxury holiday rentals in the UK to do this.
Because Bruern is luxury self-catering, you are not expected to entirely provide for yourself on your first night, so when you arrive, there are essentials like milk, butter, eggs and sausages waiting for you, along with a few little luxuries like champagne, homemade cakes and local artisan cheese.

What a superb place to stay! We went for 2 nights with another family. 3 toddlers between us and it was just superb. We stayed in Bookers which is much bigger than it looked on the photos, the cleanliness was excellent, and the set up was fantastic. We were met by high chairs, bed protectors, toy chest, an incredible welcome pack of champagne and other goodies! We spent one day on site in the pool, play room and vast gardens full of fun for all ages. A great find, we will certainly be back!!

What an absolutely stunning place to stay when visiting the Cotswolds. So we'll placed for all the attractions. We stayed in Aintree which is a 3 bed. They have thought of everything you will need for a pleasant and comfortable stay. The welcome pack is brilliant and super tasty. We enjoyed our champagne on arrival too! We loved everything about the house, especially the open fire. We spent lots of time in the pool with our 5 and 8 year old and I even got some me time in the gym! We also spent several hours in the games room. The grounds are equally as well kept and so beautiful. I would highly

The cottages are in a lovely location and have good facilities and add ons. However I previously stayed here more than 10 years ago and thought them fabulous but I don’t think they have been redecorated since then. Upholstery and carpets were grubby, woodwork and joinery worn and bathroom tiles chipped. I don’t think this is acceptable at these prices. Moreover when we had a problem with a child lock on the cooker which meant it was unusable we were unable to find anyone to help. I had gone to a wedding leaving my mother there alone so my 87 year old mother went hungry for dinner and breakfast

We rented one of the two story properties which featured all the appointments one could wish for-lovely furnishings, working fireplace, fully appointed kitchen (we love to shop and cook and sample fresh local ingredients on holiday) with lovely china and flatware and all manner of bakeware...good coffee maker and those lovely heated water pitchers for tea. Great finishes in the kitchen and bathrooms were superior. Very good sheets and lines and the beds were every travelers dream—perfection. The service afforded in unparalleled—wood brought round for the fire,a welcome basket and a perfect
