The Abbeyfield Newcastle Upon Tyne Society
Abbeyfield Newcastle Care Homes are a place where you can enjoy your later years, enjoy making new friendships and receive exceptional levels of care. We believe that happiness can be found through community, and that loneliness need not be an inevitable feature of old age. We are a small, not-for-profit organisation which allows us to provide a personal service to meet the individual needs of all our residents.

We are affiliated to the Abbeyfield Society, an international not for profit organisation, giving us the added security and benefits from being part of a large, stable organisation. Most importantly, as a registered social landlord we deliver value for money services and reinvest our profits back in to our homes to the benefit of our residents.

Helen is our Volunteer & Activities Co-ordinator and has consistently organised enjoyable and meaningful activities for residents at both of our homes.
Quite simply, it wouldn't be possible for us to continue the work we do as a not-for-profit organisation if it wasn't for the teams of volunteers we can call on. Whether it's pastoral activities, fundraising, organising events or even helping to renovate and landscape our gardens, the support of local people from all walks of life is integral to our success and to the happiness of our residents.
