Services
EKD's customers come from many different industry sectors and have widely differing requirements and budgets. To accommodate all needs, we offer adaptable and flexible ways of working. Often in support of a client's proposal to their customer, this is likely to include selection of product type, preliminary sizing and performance prediction.
Traditionally, motors and generators have been classified according to their size or power output, and terms such as 'fractional horsepower' or 'low integral horsepower' are frequently used. However, the increasing use of advanced materials in modern, efficient designs means that the long-established performance norms are being challenged.
In the same way as an architect designs buildings for others to construct, EKD designs products for others to manufacture. It follows that our products are our designs.
