Three of on us a hiking trip to the Lakes booked into this place at the last minute, having decided we needed a couple of days in Keswick. We had a really excellent stay with Deb and Lee. Rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfasts were tasty with emphasis on quality rather than quantity. The guest house was very conveniently located for all the facilities in the town and for the lake. Overall we felt it was excellent value for money.

We had a fantastic stay with Deb and Lee. Firstly, before we arrived, Deb rang me to let me know that due to the heavy rain over the previous couple of days, that there was a fair bit of flooding and a few road closures, so to bear it in mind when we were travelling up. The first day we had planned to walk round Derwent Water, but again due to flooding, and the paths on both sides being submerged, we had to change our plans. Straight away Deb invited us into the breakfast room, she dug out all their local OS maps and started to plan a different hiking route for us 😊
