We are a family business which is dedicated to upholding the traditional values of respect and dignity and to providing the very best of care for bereaved families. There are several paths leading through the gardens, some leading to various memorials and another leading to and around the large natural pond we have situated in our parkland.
Funeral Services take place Monday to Friday at Breckland Crematorium (excluding bank holidays). Our Chapel uses the Obitus music system, which provides an extensive range of music as well as Visual Tributes. There are further spaces in our overflow car park which is positioned very close to the main car park.

Services
Breckland Crematorium Ltd, is owned and managed by Ray and Shirley Thornalley along with their son Andrew, daughter Rachel and son in law Nathan. The modern premises in King's Lynn are a reflection of a successful and respected Funeral Home. In 2016, Thornalley Funeral Services acquired Chapmans Funeral Services in Swaffham, Norfolk.
Our flower court is an oak-framed building, designed to hold and display floral tributes. The flowers from each funeral will be put on display after the service and can then be viewed by the family and sympathisers. It is easily accessible by a covered walkway from the exit doors of the Chapel. The flowers are displayed for 4 working days before being removed.
We have a variety of memorials spread throughout our extensive Gardens of Remembrance to suit each and every requirement. The memorials range from trees and granite benches to more formal memorials such as a plaque on the Barbican Monument or an above ground vault, which holds your loved ones cremated remains.
You are welcome to visit and walk around our grounds or arrange an appointment to discuss any memorial you may be considering. Our Memorial Gardens are open everyday 9am - 5pm and our office is open 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays). Situated over a large area, our extensive Gardens of Remembrance are a place of peace and tranquility where you can commemorate the life of your loved one.
There are 56 spaces in our large car park and 4 disabled spaces. There are further spaces in our overflow car park which is positioned very close to the main car park. Funeral Services take place Monday to Friday at Breckland Crematorium (excluding bank holidays). Services can be held on a Saturday morning but this is subject to a surcharge.

I wouldn't normally post, but having read the recent review on here about lack of following the Government guidelines I feel it necessary to reflect on my experience today. On arrival, there was a sign asking for people to wash their hands before entering the Crematorium. Masks were worn by all of us in the service and funeral director and her team. We were asked to sit in our households and chairs were set out to accommodate this. Everything was very professionally organised.

My husband's non-religious service was carried out with the utmost professionalism . We found the Crematorium had a very peaceful calming atmosphere and we chose it for the open surrounding spaces. I would like to thank Nathan, Phillip and Tracey for their support in making sure my husband's beautiful Urn, which we purchased from the Crematorium, was back home in time for Christmas. Their efforts are very much appreciated. I would highly recommend this Crematorium.

I have visited this crematorium twice during the past few months for a funeral, once in April and again last week. On both occasions there were several signs asking people to wash their hands before entering and directions to the hand washing facilities. There were also several bottles of hand sanitiser mounted on the walls in different places which we used when passing. In the chapel most of the chairs had been removed, leaving big gaps and there were clear signs on each row stating that only people from the same household should sit together.
