Eggs Royale was OK, whites if eggs full of water, yoke nice, too many herbs on toast and good bread but a bit burnt. Carrot cake was delicious. Service was warm, friendly and efficient.

Once a simple deli... now a gourmet kitchen. Still haven't noticed the difference, and I've been coming here for years. 😉 The egg-based dishes with a local spin, 'Eggs Johnstone', are irresistible, and the soups are first-rate. My personal favourite is the Caprese Salad, which is presented beautifully. The nachos are the best I've ever tasted. Disappointing that they no longer do the thick-cut chips, nor that heavenly tablet, but these are minor quibbles. Some of the staff could be cheerier - that's my only complaint.

Having seen this place get good reviews I took the better half with me at 7:30pm on a Saturday night. When we arrived I was a little concerned that it was us two other couples only. I finished of with a fantastic take on sticky toffee pudding and the happy lady a fab carrot cake. The reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is that the food arrived on cold plates (one of my biggest bug bears) so some of the dishes were cold by the

We stopped in for brunch on a Sunday and received quick and pleasant service, plus the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. The coffee was good and the atmosphere was very charming!

It is what you would expect from A. the attitude to B the decor to C the food, not really interested in customer satisfaction food was nothing to write home about.
Service was acceptable but not welcoming
felt that the attitude was order eat, pay your ££, and whither you come back makes no difference, I feel if I take my time go to their establishment. which I appreciate, at least have the decency to make me feel welcome, give me food that would make me want to come back , and not waste of my hard earned £££. How will I ever know if they improve? Do the owners not know? however it is their

Don't get the vastly overpriced comments. You want a cheap cup of tea and a scone go to a cafe. Lovely food at a very reasonable price. Where can you get a burger and ice cream like this for a tenner?
