Using reliable and efficient suppliers, we provide you with single vision, varifocal, or bifocal lenses to suit your prescription and budget. If you are under 40 and need glasses, single-vision lenses should be sufficient to correct your vision.
If you play sport, walk or run outdoors, swim, or take part in other activities where glasses get in the way, contact lenses can be so useful. You might just fancy a change from wearing your glasses every day or want to try them for an event like a wedding. Daily disposable contact lenses are very convenient because there's no need for solutions to clean them.
You may not give much thought to your eye health unless you are aware that your vision has changed. It is important to have regular eye examinations, though, because they can tell us so much about your general health and wellbeing. Various conditions can be detected through an eye test which is why they are vital to a good health regime.
Check our list to see whether you're eligible for an NHS funded eye test at least once every two years. The NHS will pay for tests more frequently than every two years if you are aged 70 or over or in other special circumstances - for example, you're diabetic. We have a good range of NHS spectacle frames available in our practices which would suit your visual needs.
Your eye health is important to us. That's why we offer an OCT scan which can be included in your eye test at an additional charge. OCT stands for Ocular Coherence Tomography. It is an advanced, non-invasive, simple, and quick scan of the back of your eye which could be added to your routine eye examination.
