Whether your teeth are the wrong shape, misaligned, stained, or chipped, our dentists can treat your teeth with minimally invasive methods using the latest techniques and the finest materials. We can now offer wrinkle relaxing treatments to soften your frown lines and crows feet by placing tiny injections in your forehead and around your eyes.

General Dentistry

Most of our patients come to us for their general dentistry and this is what we feel we excel at. Usually this will involve your 6 monthly or annual dental inspections and any treatment that results from the findings. At Nichols and Fisher Dental Care we will generally recommend you come to see us every 6 months to a year depending on your dental need.

Tooth Whitening

Report

Tooth whitening can be a highly effective way of lightening the natural colour of your teeth without removing any of the tooth surface. It cannot make a complete colour change; but it may lighten the existing shade. Very few people have brilliant white teeth and our teeth can become more discoloured as we get older.

Composite Bonding

Report

If you have old discoloured fillings we can assess your mouth to see if it is possible to remove these and replace them for a cosmetic tooth coloured filling. The material we use is called composite resin. They are made of a ceramic and plastic compound. Because resin mimics the appearance of natural teeth, these fillings blend right in.

Root Canal Treatment Report

Root canal treatment (also called endodontics) is needed when the blood or nerve supply of the tooth (known as the pulp) is infected or significantly inflamed through decay or injury. Symptoms can range from a dull ache to severe pain and the tooth may be tender when you bite, if root canal treatment (RCT) is not carried out then infection can spread.

I have been attending the practice for 18 years and every visit the care and attention has been second to none. I unfortunately had an accident with one of my front teeth. I rang the practice straight away around 3pm and they managed to ensure I had an appointment the same day! Catherine was very reassuring and the work she did was exceptional, I couldn’t thank her enough for the repair she has done to my tooth. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

I’m proud to use Nichols & Fisher Dental Care..... I hear all my friends, family and work colleagues talk about their dentists and cringe. They all seem to have nightmare dentists....
Thankfully it’s not the case here. Weirdly (very weirdly) it’s a pleasure to visit this dentists.

I genuinely could not fault this practice. I have been petrified of the dentist since a little girl, I have always cancelled or avoided appointments until now...
I was recommended Nichols & Fisher by a friend. I was very apprehensive however I am so grateful I stuck with my appointment. Richard was extremely reassuring and very calming. I told him how nervous and scared I was and he immediately put me at ease.
I will also say this...It is not just about the actual dentist who has an influence on how you feel, it is the receptionists and the rest of the team and wow, best believe that they all

Very friendly staff make you feel welcome and at ease. Went for a broken tooth after lockdown and the safety measures were well followed and made easy by the staff's instructions on what to do.

Having been a patient here for many years, I have always received excellent service, non more so than recently as the practice opened after lockdown. My heart felt thanks to all especially the dentist standing in for an absent staff member. Every part of the procedure was explained and I was well cared for and reassured throughout.

Absolutely hate going to the dentist & it's on my mind days before the appointment. Dreading it more this time with restrictions but it was fine. I think the dentist is called Chana, 2nd time I've been treated by him, what a guy, so lovely and caring. I wish he was there permanently. Fantastic set up for covid. It's not easy for anyone or any business at the moment but this practice are doing a sterling job.

My daughter saw Richard today as one of her teeth had broken. He was so professional and talked through everything that was happening to put my daughter at ease (she’s only 6) I used to have the original mrs Nichols as my dentist and it’s clear he’s a chip off the old block . Recently had to have a tooth extracted, only second day after dentist re-opened, as always extremely professional. Richard is amazing as is his nurse, who is so caring. As a very nervous patient I am always looked after, with everything explained so as to put me at my ease. Amazing !!!!

I was fortunate to be their first patient, following the lockdown rules. A tooth extraction. I was very impressed. A completely safe, protected, professional yet friendly environment. Unhurried, yet appointment was completed within less time than I expecte. Nichols & Fisher Dental practice has had my custom for years now. I have continued to return as I always receive such friendly and professional practice from all staff. My dentist in particular, Mr Nichols, along with his dental assistants, are always so smiley, warm and polite, while endlessly helping to put my 'check up nerves' at ease, by chatting with me about the weekend and playing calming music in the background.
