As members of the BDA Good Practice scheme we aim to make every visit a pleasant experience and to help our patients achieve the smile they have always wanted. The whole team regularly update their knowledge and skills as we have a philosophy of continuous training for all our staff. I consent to my personal data being collected and stored for the purpose of marketing communications.
Services
At NewSmile we have a highly trained and qualified team. We aim to use our knowledge and expertise to provide you and your family with the best care we can. We constantly look to improve our skills and services and as members of the 'BDA good practice' scheme, we adhere to the principles set out in the British Dental Association's guidelines.
Our intra-oral cameras allow us to instantly show you what we see when we examine your mouth. The images are captured and displayed on large tv monitors enabling us to show you every aspect of your mouth. We use these in every treatment room in the practices. We use the latest digital sensors to instantly display your x-rays on our computer monitors.
Dr Agabeg, of New Smile Dental Care on Selby Road, was also honoured for his dedication and professionalism. He was named the winner for his drive to provide the best care for patients with the most-up-to-date techniques as well as communicating clearly, but with a sense of humour which puts everyone at ease.
Your gums are like cushions for your teeth: they surround the teeth in the jaws and help to support them. Looking after your gums is just as important as looking after your teeth. Red and swollen gums that bleed when you brush them could be a sign of gum disease, also known as gingivitis. When gingivitis is left untreated it can develop further into a type of infection known as periodontitis, which affects the entire area surrounding the tooth.
Do you feel a shooting pain in your teeth when eating or drinking something hot? Does the thought of biting into ice cream or a cold hard apple make you wince? Sensitive teeth can be a burden for many people and can be caused by several things. It is always important to seek advice from a dental professional so the source of the problem can be identified and treated.
