The NHS advises you to get your eyes checked every one to two years but our check-ups are available every six months and last up to 45 minutes. Contact lenses are a fantastic alternative to glasses. They allow you to see without altering the appearance of your face and give you the freedom to play sport without fear of smashing your specs.

We are delighted to introduce our Valli Essentials range. This is our entry level range of spectacles designed for people looking for great quality glasses without the designer price tag. This offer will include a much broader range of our frames and will apply as long as you purchase a 2nd pair that is exactly the same as your main pair.
Being able to see properly is vital. Good vision leads to a better quality of life, helps children do well at school and is a legal requirement for driving and certain jobs. Eye tests help to ensure your vision is as good as it can be. They also help make sure you're healthy. An eye test can pick up early signs of eye diseases and underlying health problems like diabetes, high blood pressure, some brain tumours and multiple sclerosis.
My wife Janine had a routine eye test and it was picked up on that she had a macular defect in her retina. She was immediately referref to a specialist and the problem is now completely resolved. I visited Valli Opticians in Honley on the off-chance that somebody would be able to make my glasses fit.
Located on the corner of Benomley Road, our practice has been established for over 30 years. Our modern independent practice offers a range of services and eye care products to all the family. Our patients are greeted with a friendly face and a cup of tea or coffee and time is taken to get to know them.

Julie - just a quick note to say a big thank you to you and your team on the excellent service I received once again when I visited your store. Having been a customer for quite some time, I have always found your team to be extremely knowledgeable and patient. The eye test was very thorough and I feel like i know my eyes much better. I know I took my time choosing the glasses but the lady I saw (I think Jill??) was very good with me and I know I've definitely chosen the best pair to suit my style.

Absolutely disgusting opticians been coming here over 30yrs and spent a lot of money here. I will be taking my family elsewhere its not surprising the clinic is always empty and the reviews reflect this. I bought lenses from this place sum yrs ago and they sold me out of date solution, they whispered whether they should tell my husband hes got kerataconus which could cause blindness and today i wasnt allowed to ask y my sons eyesight has deteriorated when the hospital discharged him 3mths ago saying hes eyesights fine with his current prescription. Very poor service we live local and my daughter had woken up with a very red painful eye, we went to see the doctors up the road who prescribed some eye drops and advised us to go to Valli opticians for an eye inspection so they could decide whether hospital referral was nessecary.
Upon arriving at 10am the waiting room was totally empty , yet the receptionist told us they are fully booked.
I pleaded with them and tried to point out the obvious of emergency as its not a routine eye test. If they could squeeze us in , but they were not interested and told us you will have to find another optician
