Stratford-upon-avon is situated in the heart of the English midlands. A market town dating back to medieval times, Stratford is today most famous as the birthplace of the Elizabethan playwright William Shakespeare. Hundreds of thousands of tourists visit the town each year to visit the historic properties associated with Shakespeare, go to the theatre and enjoy the many attractions in the town and surrounding area.
Walk along the station road and take stairs at your right-hand side if it is available. Keep walking along, pass Morrison's supermarket and garage (which will be on your right-hand side). Continue along the road, Moonraker House is situated on the right just after the traffic signal. It is about a 5-8 minutes' walk from the station.

Are you kinding me? It's really incredible. What does it mean to keep my room open when I'm not at the room! ? Said it was cleaning the room? My goodness. When I went back, I saw that all the occupied or unoccupied rooms were open. This was terrible. My passport and cash were in the room. I was really scared to death by him. I will never come again.

It was lovely to get an email from the owner acknowledging our dietary requirements following our booking. Maurice made us very welcome on our arrival and looked after us very well during our short stay, he was knowledgeable about the area and what's on offer. Breakfast was excellent. Ensuite room was clean and tidy. Great locality, short walk into town, parking available. We would be happy to stay again.

This place is amazing. We have been staying at airB&B while traveling Uk. The cost difference is minimal. The rooms were extremely great value. The manager/owner is amazing. In the morning they take your breakfast order and make you breakfast from scratch which is included in the price. There are only 7 rooms in the hotel so very intimate setting

Smallish but extremely convenient accommodation, with every possible amenity provided. I really cannot think of any way that anything could have been added or improved to have made the experience any better. Just a short walk from the train station and from the town centre. On a main bus route (#26) and a taxi from the riverside was only £3 50p. The Morris couple who own and run it bend over backward to accommodate your every need. Breakfast is completely waited, including coffee, tea and juice, so you don't have to get up to serve yourself, and every breakfast item is provided--home
