Walk-in Backrub
Shiatsu is a wonderful style of deeply relaxing Japanese massage which helps release stress and promotes health and well-being. Shiatsu is based on the same principles as acupuncture, in which pressure is applied through clothing to pressure points on the body using the thumbs and hands instead of needles. You can turn up with your gift voucher or call Walk-in Backrub to book the time and day you like to have the Shiatsu.

Excellent shiatsu for an hour with Vijay, no booking needed. Worth every penny. What a treat! Also reliably decent seated massage available usually without a wait. Worth a visit. They are well qualified therapists who have good skills and experience.

Location is fine and massage here is usually very good.
They started doing foot rubs, my foot rub was incredibly relaxing. You have to sit in a flimsy camping chair though! Not one of those big comfy chairs you get at Chinese foot massage places.
They left the door open since it was warm weather but that also means you get all the noise from the restaurant opposite, not exactly relaxing.
I had a 20 min foot rub and 20 min back rub and both were really nice and made me feel so much better afterwards.

Always warm and welcoming, and a lovely atmosphere. The masseurs are wonderful and did a great job helping with rotator cuff pain.

I’ve been to different Walk in Backrubs for over a decade - Neal St, Tavistock St, Carnaby etc - but this is the branch I’ve been to the most. I love the idea of Walk in Backrub, such a convenient concept. I’ve told many people about this company over the years.
The only downside is the inconsistency. It can vary hugely from branch to branch, from person to person. My most recent visit to this branch, the woman who did my message was not at all friendly (in fact the way she looked at me when I walked in was almost as if she was wondering if I had walked into the wrong place!). It was like

Visited after a few days of walking around on vacation with my boyfriend and we both had back pain. He has chronic lower back pain and by the end of the 30 minute massage he said he was "walking on a cloud". For me - I just had a knot that needed to be kneaded and they took care of it in the 20 minute option.

There is no appointment just walk in only, we didn't have to wait long maybe 15 minutes.

They also have 10 minute options and up to an hour. They also do foot massages other than back. I will be coming back whenever I can!

Just had a massage with Ian. Sorted my neck out. I've been going to this chain for a few years and would highly recommend.

I love this place! The masseuses are fantastic. They are very good about asking of your conditions or trouble spots first, and then following through to focus (or not focus) on those areas.

I like that they have timers on the wall so the massage time is very clear, and there are individual hooks for your items directly in front of your chair,

The wait is also rarely bad. I work in the area, and have never waited more than 20 minutes.

Tip: they have a card where if you have 9 massages, you get a 10 minute massage free.

Have 20-30 minutes during your workday for a break? Need a quick massage to loosen your muscles?

If you sit at a computer all day and can squeeze this into your schedule, I'd highly recommend a visit here.

You'll likely have to wait in bit if you come during the lunch hour, but it shouldn't take long. They have plenty of chairs and employees, so it'll go by quickly.

Be sure to let them know what area you'd like them to focus on, otherwise they will do the typical routine.

What to expect:
1. Walk in
2. Check in
3. Follow someone to an open chair.
4. Relax
5.

In the category of "affordable luxury," here's a new concept. A spur-of-the-moment massage can be a life-saver when you're suffering from too much work, stress, or sight-seeing.

We noticed this serene little storefront tucked away in a residential neighborhood. Some massage-related items are for sale near the front, but there's really nothing else here but a few massage chairs (the kind you kneel forward on) and some New Age-y music.

Milan, the massage therapist (his background is in shiatsu), was pleasant and skilled. He asked if we wanted him to focus on a specific

Tucked away on a little pedestrian lane just off Goodge Street, Walk In Backrub is just that: a little shop where you can walk in and get a good, welcome backrub. The front area has loads of massage items from small to large, cheap to costly. It also has, a bit curiously, yoga mats and mat bags for sale.

I waited two minutes before being led to a massage chair and explained I've been having a lot of problems in my right shoulder and neck and general tension in my shoulders. The massage therapist definitely worked on these areas competently. Having expressed specific concern about these

I absolutely love massages. Yes, I don't know many people who don't. Due to the fact that I'm a struggling writer in London, I can't usually afford a full hour massage at a day spa. So my indulgence is occasionally popping into Chinese Medical centres and getting a £10, 10 minute massage.

So I was delighted to discover 'Walk-In Backrub', a place that did just what it said on the packet. I walked in, and they gave me a backrub. And it was a damn good, reasonably priced backrub. Twenty minutes of pure bliss, and affordable enough to indulge in rather regularly. I&apos

The concept is simple, no appointment necessary, just walk in and enjoy for a reasonable price a massage that can be a shiatsu or a chair massage. I recommend the 30 Minute ultimate de-stress backrub at £27.00 it's the best value for your money. The masseurs are absolute professionals that will make sure that your time there is absolute bliss and a time of relaxation. The Neal's Yard shop is quite busy, that's why I really like the one on Goodge Street, and it's closer to me. Its one of those experiences that you have to try. There is no need to make big plan, just pop in
