McIntyres are once again supporting the pride of Perth St. Johnstone FC and following on from Danny Invincible and Fran Sandaza this seaason are delighted to be backing one of Saints star players in former Portsmouth, Luton Town, Birmingham City, Queens Park Rangers Striker Rowan Vine.
The summer of 2012 saw Steve Lomas quick to sign up Gregory Tade and Nigel Hasselbaink but aware of the gap left by departed Fran Sandaza he remained keen to add a "big striker" to his options. He turned his attention to Rowan, a 29 year old from England, and gave him the opportunity to show what he could do in the pre-season friendly against Bristol City and he duly obliged with two great finishes in a 2-1 win over Derek McInnes's side.

Congratulations from all the team at MaFCF go out to our colleague Paul Sheerin on his weekend success leading Arbroath to their first ever silverware when they won the SFL Third Division Title with a convincing victory against local rivals Montrose. In front of a big crowd player manager Paul led from the front and scored the third with a classy lob over the Montrose keeper in a 4-1 victory.
