Situated just a stone's throw away from the city centre, idyllic Woodborough is a beautiful village in the middle of the countryside. Woodborough offers some great walks through the local villages of Calverton, Lambley & Epperstone. With over 20 years of experience, Gaynor and her team have bought a fresh, vibrant menu, great service and friendly atmosphere to this great venue.
You can expect to see one of the three kids running around or working! We have some great facilities that cater for all types of people, a great garden with children's play area, outside BBQ, separate areas for dining or private use. As the weather drops, we've got a great Wood Burning Stove to warm your cockles!

Services
The Four Bells Inn has been here since 1762 (according to public records), it was formerly know as 'the Bells', 'Bell', 'Ring of Bells', 'Five Bells' or 'Eight Bells'! In 1898 the Home Brewery bought the Four Bells and today it is owned by Star Pubs & Bars (formerly Scottish & Newcastle). A major conversion in 1999 when two separate rooms were merged into one, which was very popular in the area.

Nice building and docor.
Food below average and well over priced.
When i informed the staff of my issues and said politely that we would not return the reply was, " oh , ill tell the cheff".
No apology, no attempt to rectify the situation.
Also no really wheelchair friendly due to high steps in and out. Cant comment on toilets ascwe didnt stsy long enough to use them

Lovely for lunch, tea or just a drink! The staff could have been a little bit more friendly as I felt like I had to be quite formal around them... There's a new park just over the road and you can watch the kids whilst having your burger which is great! The food could have tasted a bit nicer, but that might just be me...
