As we get older our teeth get darker. This is partly due to our getting older, but it is also caused by the foods we eat and drink, and by other habits such as smoking. Tea, coffee, blackcurrant juice, red wine and other foods that have strong colours can have an effect on the overall colour of our teeth.
Dental implants have been around for over 25 years. Where natural teeth are missing titanium implants can be inserted into the region subject to enough bone being available. Once these have become firm then the area of missing teeth can be restored with crowns or a bridge. A crown mounted on a dental implant is the best choice if you have a tooth missing in the upper or lower jaw.
A crown can help strengthen a tooth with a large filling, when there isn't enough tooth remaining to hold the filling. Crowns can also be used to attach bridges, protect a weak tooth from breaking or restore one that's already broken. A crown is a good way to cover teeth that are discoloured or badly shaped.

I have been to many dentists in Belfast, Holywood, and the States (my home country), and I have to say Jordan Dental has been one of the best if not the best I've ever had.
Dr Jordan was the only one who has been able to replace a troublesome crown of mine that keep getting food stuck in it, making eating painful. He listens, takes the time to educate patients, and walk them through his diagnosis. Let's face it many dentists rush into their own inspection without taking the time to understand the history, start hacking away and hand you a bill for £1000.
