Stayed at The Ullswater View for a short break, Saturday to Monday. Used as a base to visit Glenridding, Pooley Bridge, Keswick, Ambleside, Penrith. Our room was the Blea Super King En-suite - the room felt quite dark with the dark wood and the decor was a bit dated (or perhaps just not to my taste) but looking past that, the bed was very comfortable and everywhere was spotless. We've been let down by other places throughout COVID with their cleanliness but were very pleased here. The bathroom is quite big and the shower is excellent, good pressure. After flushing the toilet you can hear the cistern

We stayed here in July can highly recommend this guest house. Julie & her staff made us feel very welcome, the breakfast are so lovely and a great choice too. The decor is superb throughout, spacious rooms & bathroom. All in a fantastic location with views of Ullswster Lake. Will definitely go back.

It was our third stay and as excellent as ever. A very friendly welcome and nothing too much trouble. Our room was extremely comfortable and clean. The breakfast as ever was delicious with plenty of choice. We are hoping for a fourth visit next year and certainly won't be leaving it as long!
It's certainly worth a visit whatever time of year. A little gem. Tony and Andrea.
PS.....great coffee x
