They have some friendly good staff but generally when you make a complaint it doesn't get followed through. Instruction from the estate agents to their contractors doesn't get properly relayed which results in multiple visits and wasting tenants time. I ended up replacing and repairing items myself in the end.

Rav was ultra-helpful the whole way through my daughter’s tenancy and a credit to Sky Blue – thank you for all your help.
NEGATIVES
Sky Blue undertook a “Check-In Inventory” but this was never given to the tenants when they moved in – not ideal but given it was amid lockdown, genuine mistakes can happen.
It only came to light at the end of the tenancy when a “Check-Out Inventory” provided that we found out that in fact, the windows had no working locks throughout the 12 months my daughter lived in the property.

As a landlord with 4 properties I've dealt with plenty of people in 'the business'; thank goodness for Sky Blue Homes. They have successfully stolen £410 from me by claiming I had not paid rent that I had paid. Even though I went through the My Deposit scheme and proved I had paid for the periods they claimed were missing, I did not provide bank statements for the entire 4.5 year tenancy, and so it was 'unproven'. It's a devastating amount to lose. Also, at the start of the pandemic, I was behind in rent by one month and they threatened me with eviction, even though eviction is not legal in this circumstance, there was a pandemic, and they did not have the support of the landlord. My experience with Sky Blue Homes was the absolute worst. They gave me a house that was was under renovation saying that it was going to be ready by the time I arrived and it was not ready at all. We had huge issues with moisture which lead to a gigantic spread of mould all over the house. I had to throw away every single piece of clothing I had because the smell of mould would not go away. They never got back to me on any issue even tho I complained multiple times. I wouldn't recommend this agency to my worst enemy.

I've been a tenant with Sky Blue Homes since I have started university (three years ago). The maintenance team have been incredible with any issues I have had during my stay in one of their student accommodations, once had an issue with my heating and they swiftly came and issued a fix immediately.
