I'm Jane and Pirate Treasures Jewellery is my collection of designs handmade or put together by myself in Greater London, UK. I have always loved creating my own unique style; when I was a small girl, my grandmother used to take me to a bead shop and we would thread seed beads onto wire to make bracelets and rings.
As a teenager I would customise clothes, adding lace, beads and embellishments. The idea for Pirate Treasures jewellery began when I designed some pirate themed jewellery for myself, after watching the film "Pirates of the Caribbean". This led to me making jewellery as gifts for friends and family.

It's truly unfortunate that I have to give a 1 star rating because I do love this store. But every time I check online to see if it's open, it says it is and upon my arrival, it's not even open. There is no clear answer to when they are open. There's about 3 different signs with different times. It's very unfair to the people who want to support this shop. They could most definitely do a better job at being considerate to their customers by sharing updated information about their shop. And to be consistant. Inconsistentcy and poor integrity can bring down any business.

Very disappointed! Visiting from Portland and staying in Reno for my birthday. Husband knows me and pirates so he decided to drive me to South Lake Tahoe just to go to this store. Checked on line for hours made the drive 3pm on Monday only to find a sticky note in the door saying April hours are Friday Saturday and Sunday. So disappointed! An update to your website would be helpful.

ONE OF MY FAVORITE STORES IN TAHOE. SWEET LADY, LOTS TO CHOOSE FROM, REASONABLE. NICE TO SEE SHE IS STILL HERE. ALL OF MY OTHER FAVORITE STORES HAVE CLOSED. SHOP THE WORLD, MUSIC AND MORE, SIERRA BOOK STORE. I DON'T SHOP THE HILL MUCH ANYMORE, A SAD MEMORY OF A LOCAL' SHOPPERS PARADISE. ALL OTHER STORES HERE SELL THE SAME -O SAME-O. SHE AT LEAST HAS SURVIVED. HER STORE IS UNIQUE. NOT PART OF THE STEP-FORD CHAIN OF STORES THAT HAS BECOME TAHOE NOW. HATS OFF TO THIS LADY. MY KID'S LOVE HER STORE AND SO DO I. CHECK IT OUT. I can't fairly give this store one star. Their merchandise looks interesting enough, and garnered enough attention from me to come down on my two day stay in South Tahoe.
What I can't forgive is that I never got to go in the store. The first day I showed up was Sunday, and they were closed. Okay, it's posted, so no biggie. I went back the next day in the early afternoon, well after their open time. No one there. Only then did I read the other sign that says that they may not even open on some days.
Personally, I was annoyed because I drove back specifically for that shop. I'll look again next
