We have repaired many a chain that had an altercation with, amongst other things (the usual suspects), the supermarket trolley, the jumper, the child's pushchair, the wheel chair and dogs of varying size and breed!
In our on-site workshop, Clarkes Jewellers can remodel a well-loved piece of jewellery and create a beautiful new addition to your collection. We can also melt down old and broken pieces of gold jewellery to create bangles wedding rings and other custom jewellery designs. This gives a brand new lease of life to old, un-utilised jewellery, ensuring it retains the special bond with the original owner or purchaser of the pieces.

I would highly recommend this jewelers. I had my wedding and engagement rings enlarged by 2 sizes after pregnancy, they re assured me on the process (after a previous bad experience with ring re sizing) and spent the time to ensure I got the new correct size. As there workshop is on site my rings were ready the same day! They did an amazing job, you can't see where the join where they added extra gold at all and they gave them a professional clean and polish so they look better than they did new and it was at a really reasonable price, really happy with the service. I have just had my engagement ring reset after nearly 30 years. I am overjoyed with the result. Clarkes gave an excellent service, leaving something so precious was not easy - Louise took great care of my ring and it is now even more beautiful. I would definitely recommend them. I took my Grandmother's engagement ring in as I had managed to bend it out of shape. Whilst it's not worth a lot of money it's naturally incredibly precious to me. The work done on it is amazing. You cannot tell where the damage is done and the ring looks like new which is no mean feat when its over 80 years old. I'm absolutely thrilled to bits and would highly recommend Clarkes' services to anyone.

Superb Jewellers, requested for the old lobster clasp removing and to replace with 6 additional links so one continuous chain, also to increase the size of the bail on the cross as this was catching, quoted me the best price by far and got the work done in just 8 days, really pleased with the job so much so I gave them another repair job when I picked this up, would definitely recommend.
