Quinn & Co was formed nearly twenty years ago by its two directors Jonathan Middlemiss and Martin Quinn. Both had previously worked for local estate and letting agencies and were dissatisfied with the service those agencies offered their clients, because they focused purely on profit rather than forming a long term relationship based on providing an excellent service.
With over 20 years of experience working in the property industry, Jon is very trustworthy, friendly and ensures every client receives a first class service. In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoor life, football, swimming and spending time with his family. Martin has over 35 years' experience in sales and lettings.
Our sales team comprises professionals all with many years relevant experience who are able to deal with all types of property both residential and commercial. They will always provide the highest level of customer service, so much so that many of our clients come from recommendations and repeat business.
Landlords are the lifeblood of the lettings and property management side of our business so we aim to provide a level of service which not only takes away all the stress and to some degree inconvenience - viewings, referencing, rent chasing etc, of being a landlord but also maximises the profit you make from your buy to let property and enhances the service the tenants receive, which keeps them happy too.

Freezing temperatures can cause devastation to properties if pipes freeze and burst and you are responsible to ensure this doesn't happen. Please remember to leave the heating on low, when the weather is very cold even if the property is unoccupied to prevent this from happening.

Both Jon and Jim were very friendly and knowledgeable. We found them reliable and trustworthy- they always gave good advice and we felt that they had our best interests at heart.
Honest feedback about viewings was always given promptly, which was very much appreciated.

We recently purchased a property through Quinn and Co. From the first viewing right through to completion Jim was brilliant. He was professional throughout, keeping us regularly updated with progress. As first time buyers we were a little apprehensive about the whole process however Jim made us feel very at ease right from the very start. As first time-buyers the house buying process was extremely daunting to us, but Jim went above and beyond to ensure the process went smoothly. He kept us fully informed and communicated quickly and efficiently with us and the sellers. Unfortunately our solicitors were far from helpful and without the assistance of Jim we would most definitely not have completed by Christmas! I have been a tenant with this agency for a while after I had no choice having had my tenancy passed over to them and had nothing but problems, even now after moving out of their property 8 months ago.
While living in the property, they gave less than 24 hours notice and then turned up and illegally let themselves in, with no authorisation from myself.
After leaving the property, they tried telling me I had to give 2 months notice and demanded payment of 2 months rent, when my tenancy agreement clearly stated 1 month notice.
After leaving it, the property was thoroughly cleaned (much cleaner than

I have just sold my house through Quinn and co completing next week. Having bought this same house from Quinn and Co 7 years ago they were so efficient and friendly at the time that I knew I would 100% want them to resale my house when it came to the time.
True to form they have not disappointed, if anything the service was even better. Jon and Jim have always been professional and friendly with a personal touch throughout with great communication, I have been recommending them for the last 7 years and will continue to do so.

I had recently rented a shared property though Quinn & Co and I cannot stress enough how impressed I was with the service they provided. I had specifically been liaising with Emma Parker at Quinn & Co. Emma was always so attentive and prompt with any issues I had. I would strongly recommend their services for anyone renting. A well deserved 5 star review. Deposit returned very quickly, efficient staff and offer that above and beyond service which can be rare when it comes to estate agents.

I have been a landlord for over 20 years and have used many different agents in the past but none of these previous agencies have met the standards that I excepted. However,since using Quinn and Company I have been most impressed with the effort they put in into looking after my property. They are a busy agent but always manage to find the time to keep me updated and their choice and supervision of tenants have been excellent. I highly recommend this agency.

Quinn and co are useless we were dealing with one agent who left the company and they didnt bother to put someone new on the account, got to the office on the day of moving in they had said the house would be ready, they had not even got the keys ready, I was told the house was cleaned but found the house in a state with an empty toilet roll on the bathroom floor.
Mulitiple problems with the house when quinn and co have been informed they say that they will sort it which is utter lies.

Worst letting agency ever ! Completely incompetent ! Do not tell the truth especially Martin Quinn . The staff pass the buck from one to another it's just a joke . They never return phone calls and literally don't care . Martin Quinn should be banned from dealing with public and certainly would never ever recommend this waste of space man and his business .
