VGL was the brainchild of Ted Ayerst, an apprentice letterpress compositor who, following a spell in marketing, became a production director for a print company. Seeing the potential of pre-spaced lettering for marking signs and vehicles, he set up Jadecal, the fore-runner of VGL in 1976. We soon built a reputation for excellence and we've been keeping a keen eye on technology ever since.
VGL replaces all banner products with PVC-free and recyclable Kavalan, a material that delivers the same high standard and functional performance, without compromising on quality, strength or fire ratings.
