Established in 1895 the course has a rich history, challenging design and is set in the shadow of Arthur's Seat with the meandering Braid Burn a key feature.
Such a tranquil setting - and only 10 minutes from Edinburgh city centre! I had the pleasure of playing Duddingston a few weeks ago. The course was in excellent condition and such a joy to play we returned for another round a few days later. I am writing to thank you for the wonderful time we had there recently.

I loved the course. I came across a few old members moaning away about how slow the people were in front of them. They were using drivers an hitting about 70 yards. I tried to speak to them. I told them they should not be driving when the people in front of them had not hit their 2nd shot. I think they though they were big hitters. But they were just rushing round the course.
