Rip off merchants.... wanted some advice on jewelery collected over some years (approx 20 items), some to sell some to potentially make into new pieces. Staff intimidating.... advised that it was all scrap, told some stones were not were not diamonds, mis identified gold ignoring quite clear hall marks. and price offered was very low. Subsequently took the collection for a 2nd opinion. One 3 stone diamond ring they identified as rubbish and only hadscrap value was valued at between £800 - £1000.
Don't bother!

Awful place. Engraving ruined our ring. Was rough and uneven. When we returned he tried to smooth it and took all the polish off it in the process..later found out the person who tried to fix it was a butcher and not a jeweller. Bad customer service. Rude. Bad attitude. Will never use again or recommended to anyone. Collingwood Gold opposite sorted our ring and made it beautiful again.
