I am a retail Jeweller of some 30 years standing, both my parents are also Jewellers (though part retired now) & still help out in the shop today, my grandfather was the village clockmaker & now my daughter is just starting out in the trade, making us a fourth generation Jewellers/Watchmakers with almost 200 years experience between us.
All our pieces are handpicked by myself and my wife from some of the most experienced Goldsmiths and gem dealers. 70% of our stock is British, with a great deal being handmade. Wedding rings may be bought from in store or we offer a bespoke service with bands made in 9ct & 18ct yellow, rose and white gold, platinum and palladium.

We went into lytham today to visit a jewelry shop by the name of stones. Unfortunately we had a bad experience and found the owner /manager rather rude and abrupt, so we decided to try Timothy's as I have shopped their before.
What a charming couple, they couldn't have done enough for myself and my husband.
We perchased a gold chain which was exactly what we wanted, and we will be returning.
Can't thank them enough for the curtious manner unlike the previous shop.
Sometimes bigger it would appear isn't always better.
