Services
If there were ever a tea brand that captures so completely what it is, who it serves and why it succeeds on so many levels, it is London Tea Exchange. For nearly a decade, London Tea Exchange has evolved to own an enviable niche in the growing luxury tea market.

For it is here that luxury is experienced through the richness of purity and authenticity, discovered in the beauty of artistry and delivered with an intuitive response to personal expectation. Our philosophy and attitude is founded on the need for continuous improvement, whilst satisfying our own passion for quality tea.
Unlike black tea, it is not fermented during the production process. In avoiding oxidation, the leaves retain their olive-green hue and their high anti-oxidant and polyphenol content. During production the tannins and enzymes are removed via steam treatment or roasting directly after withering. It is then pan-fried or steamed and thereafter rolled or dried.
Black teas are known to be the most popular teas in the world. This is especially true of the Western world. Drinking strong black teas for breakfast is a British custom and there are dozens of ways to prepare it and hundreds of unique varieties to choose from. We have the largest selection of black teas from 40 different countries that vary greatly.
Integrally, this tea represents the median between black and green tea as it is semi-oxidised. It can lean towards either the 'black' or 'green' end of the spectrum, as its oxidation scale can range from anywhere between 8% to 85%. Effectively a hybrid, it can simultaneously possess the salubrious characteristics of green tea and the richness and robustness of black tea.
Our best teas can be found here on the London Tea Exchange website. We stock some of the best and the most rarest teas in the world. At London Tea Exchange we are proud to be able to share the cultures, traditions and health benefits of our most popular teas. London Tea Exchange is one of the best place when it comes either for afternoon tea or evening tea. Sheikh Aliur Rahman who is the owner is not only a name anymore, he is the Brand Ambassador of the Global Tea! Proudly represents more than thousands of teas from more than 42 countries around the world!! You cannot find a name of a tea what he doesn't have in his collection. I must say he is another succesful addition to the British Bangladeshi Legendary. His rapid success is really making us proud. His tea is consumed in the top official around the globe including UK. It was such an honour for

I cannot stress enough how fascinated we have been on our visit today at the London Tea Exchange in Brick Lane , London. It was an unimaginable, unbelievable and spontaneous experience which exceeded all our expectations beyond the thresholds.
It’s CEO and founder Shiekh Aliur Rahman has taken us back in history from sowing the seeds of this vast project and collecting arrays of 825 different teas from 43 different countries.
The challenges he had to endure and overcoming the obstacles to arrived at this current level of world’s rarest tea collector. He has the profound knowledge of each

It's pretty, but that's all. Tea was weak and boring, croissant-doughnut has less moisture than Sahara Desert. Service is super slow, waited almost half hour for the bill.
I guess it is that kind of place for tourists who are looking for British antique style tea house. Unfortunately they do look like a real place to go.

A significant variety of teas from around the world.
Customer service is OK, but just make sure your cup is clean when you receive it. Mine had lipstick smeared over it.
The have a good selection of cakes to match with the teas. Overall, it's pricey - commensurate for the location however.

Really nicely done calm tea room on brick lane. It's wonderfully quiet and calm inside with classical music which is a stark contrast to everything else happening on brick lane. The selection of teas is amazing and they aren't too over priced. The coffee selection is also good and the cakes are very nice too. The service is amazing and attentive. Nice place to go for something different.

This is such a lovely tea place. The staff are friendly, polite and knowledgeable.
When we were looking at teas to order our waitress helped us pick the right tea. She first asked what type of tea we’d like to have. Then she brought a few containers of tea which we took a look at and ordered out tea.
This is definitely highly recommended. Looking forward to becoming a regular here :)

An excellent tea and coffee shop to both buy and stay with very kind and knowledgeable staff. They have over one hundred varieties of tea and many single source coffee beans. We came in on a cold day and felt like royalty. We sat down in the comfortable leather chairs and the staff guided us through a number of tea options, chose three for us to smell, and we settled for a green and a Darjeeling, both were amazing. We also ordered a platter of pastries that were tasty and perfect to go with the tea. Highly recommended for sipping or purchasing quality tea.

Stumbled across a fancy place down brick lane and I do love my herbal teas - coming from an Asian background lol. Managers & staff were very friendly and I am amazed with the high level of knowledge they have about their products. Found out this was recently opened for about 3 weeks too (lucky me). The atmosphere was very warm with peaceful music playing behind the background. The decor is so beautiful, from the inside it looks like a library but instead of books its 100 tins of different flavoured tea from selected countries around the world! Taste is very authentic & premium, I had the Jasmine
