Long Eaton Foot Knee & Back Clinic
If you are struggling with foot, knee and back pain you have come to the right place. Our team of professional clinicians have the specialist knowledge and experience to resolve your problem. While our area of expertise is the lower limb, the physiotherapist and acupuncturists also treat general musculoskeletal conditions such as shoulder and neck pain.

The Podiatrists (Chiropodists) treat a wide range of problems from toenail disorders, corns and calluses to general foot pain by utilising specialist skills such as gait analysis. Our practitioners are registered with the Health care professions council (HCPC) which is recognised by health care insurers.
Services
The foot, knee and back clinic was established in 1997. The clinic, originally based in Beeston and called the Beeston Podiatry and Sports Injury Clinic, moved to Long Eaton in 2003 to its current premises on Derby Road. Our team of dedicated clinical staff and receptionists welcome you to our practice.
When you attend for your first Podiatry, Chiropody, Physiotherapy or acupuncture appointment, you will be asked to complete a health questionnaire which asks for a brief medical history, any allergies and current medication (please bring a copy of your prescription). It is important that this is accurate, as treatment may have to be adjusted depending on the medication you may be taking or your medical history.
Chiropodists and podiatrists, deal with the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of the lower limb. At the foot, knee and back clinic we use the separate terms of Chiropody and Podiatry for only for pricing treatments. For example, a podiatry fees cover complex musculoskeletal problems in the lower limb that will require more time for assessment and treatment.
If you have been diagnosed with diabetes you are often overloaded with information on diet, exercise, medication, screening programs, what you can do and what you can't do. Some people decide to carry on as they always have and hope for the best. Others are keen to do what they can to help themselves.
An ingrowing toenail is a condition where the skin is punctured or cut by the toenail, usually at the side of the nail. This then leads to pain, swelling, redness and often infection and pus. It is often common for the sufferer to cut down the side of the nail, this can temporarily relieve the pain.
