Services
Physiotherapy is an evidence-based profession, which aims to establish a diagnosis and then form a unique treatment plan aiming to help alleviate pain and to help restore movement and function as soon as possible. At Plains Physiotherapy our specialised and experienced Chartered physiotherapists offer a wide range of physiotherapy treatments for musculoskeletal problems.
Every one of us is unique, so it's only right that our physiotherapy treatment plans are designed specifically to each individual. Though each treatment plan will differ, we guarantee that everyone will receive the same high level of physiotherapy expertise, reassurance and confidentiality throughout their time with us.
No matter what level of sport you play, carrying an injury or niggle stops you from enjoying it to the full, either not allowing you to take part or not allowing you to perform at your best. Sports injuries usually happen when playing sport or during exercise. However, they can occur as a result of poor training techniques, lack of sport-specific preparation, incorrect muscle patterns or predisposing anatomical factors.
Arthritis is a condition that can affect anyone at any age. About 10 million people a year visit their GP with joint problems that affect their mobility and function. People with arthritis often have pain, swelling and restricted joint movement. Research has demonstrated that physiotherapy for arthritis can help.
It is common for women to experience health issues of a delicate nature; in fact, one in three women will find themselves coping with an embarrassing gynaecological problem at some point in their lives. At Plains Physiotherapy we recognise that these can be difficult to talk about, and we always treat patients with the utmost sensitivity, providing reassurance when assessing and treating in complete confidence.
