The Valley Physiotherapy Clinic was established in 1996 to provide specialised Physiotherapy for both acute and chronic musculo-skeletal conditions. We do not have a waiting list and are able to offer appointments quickly so that the recovery process can begin. All our Physiotherapists take a keen interest in continued professional development undertaking varied post-graduate training courses.
At the Valley Physiotherapy Clinic we provide a holistic approach to treatment. This involves a detailed assessment in order for us to have a thorough understanding of your condition and the underlying factors influencing it. Treatment is focused on alleviating symptoms as well as addressing the causes to prevent recurrence and involves a combination of manual therapy techniques.

After the first acupuncture session with Angela my symptoms significantly eased (which they had not done after 6 sessions with an NHS physio). I now see her periodically and do the exercises she has set me between sessions and my shoulder is generally better than it has been at any time since I damaged it. I can't recommend Angela highly enough. She is highly skilled and a lovely person too.

I have been seeing Holly and Angela at Valley Physio for a very painful nerve impingement and have received the best of advice, treatment and care over quite an extended period. Their treatment has adapted to my recovery over time, moving from gentle manipulation and exercise to acupuncture. I can highly recommend this team of friendly, skilful professionals.

I first attended Valley Physiotherapy a number of years ago with what I thought (and had been assumed by a previous physio) to be a problem with my knee. Angela however, diagnosed it to be a chronic back problem. She has been managing this problem now with regular visits every five weeks or so for 12+ years. This gives me total mobility, enabling me go on long walks, do gardening and other such activities without any pain or discomfort, and with no need for any medication. She is an excellent physiotherapist - totally professional and friendly. I have no hesitation in recommending her.

Angela Finkill is a true professional with many years of experience within the NHS and in private practice. She has managed my spinal problems over a number of years and has kept me mobile. She also helped with my recovery from total knee replacements (both). She offers a huge variety of services carried out in a pleasant and convivial atmosphere.

I have been treated for a chronic arthritic condition for some time by Angela, with various treatments from acupuncture, hands on Physio and recommendations for relevant exercises and stretches. I can highly recommend Angela as a consummate professional, tailoring the treatment to the changes in my condition as it develops. My condition will never be cured but thanks to Angela’s treatment and advice I have learned how to live with it and make the most of life.

I started having treatments with Angela after she was recommended to me. I have acupuncture, and a bit of manipulation when she feels it's needed, for long standing shoulder and neck problems. Angela is great. I can't fault the attention she gives. The treatments mean I am largely pain free and have restored strength and mobility to my arms and shoulders. I have no hesitation in recommending her to others.
