Services
Nufox Rubber Limited draws on knowledge and experience dating back to the earliest beginnings of the UK rubber industry. We have developed our capabilities through investment, innovation and driving change and now we have a core expertise in manufacturing extruded rubber profiles, and all aspects of bespoke rubber fabrication and extrusion.
The origins of Nufox Rubber were in 1981, in Ashton under Lyne, Manchester, formed by a partnership of Derek Nubold and Fox Petroleum. In the late 1990's we made some small acquisitions as the business grew and then in 2000 we relocated to a larger facility in Middleton, Manchester.
In the following years two companies were acquired; firstly Leyland and Birmingham Rubber Ltd, and then Dunlop Extrusions, both with a long heritage of producing high quality industrial rubber products. In addition both companies had been a part of the famous BTR conglomerate.

We take great pride in taking on challenging projects and we are all motivated by these projects becoming successful for our customers. The team pulls its strength from a great pool of talent that covers every aspect of the business. Our business, unlike many today, does not involve pulling an item off a shelf and shipping it, but working with the customer from concept design to finished product.
At Nufox we like to talk about rubber 'imagineering', because a high proportion of our work goes beyond the day to day and requires us to work really closely with our clients to realise their objectives successfully every time.
Creating bespoke solutions across an ever increasing breadth of industries and applications, our highly knowledgeable technical teams go the extra mile to source the most effective designs, materials and production processes to make sure every project meets the needs of the customer completely.

In many projects, the use of a rubber seal, gasket or fabrication is often paramount to the success of a project. But often this is only considered in-depth at a late stage in most projects. We always try to get involved from the start to ensure the best possible solution. Once the initial design has been proposed, the technical team at Nufox work with our customer to turn the concept into reality.
