We provide a broad and balanced curriculum, with reading at the heart. We are creating the next generation of authors through our phonics and writing programmes. Numeracy isn't just about maths here! Our forest school, animals and location to Cannock Chase, encourage pupils to develop their self-esteem and love of nature so they have the experiences and the confidence to use their individual talents, skills and knowledge effectively.

Chase View sees itself as at the heart of the Pear Tree Community and offers the foundations of an excellent education for life, enabling all to develop as independent, confident, effective and responsible learners through the provision of an enriched and enjoyable curriculum.
To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream, not only plan, but also believe. We have joined the thousands of schools, who are already enjoying No More Marking, for the moderation of our Writing. The inspiration for this weeks whole school write is the Chris Malinchak song So good to me.
At Chase View our maths curriculum is intended to equip children with the necessary skills, knowledge and resilience needed to become fluid problem solvers who are adaptable and can use their acquired skills in real life scenarios. Our curriculum is designed to be accessible to all and will maximise the development of every child's ability and academic achievement.
Every Monday after school, we are joined by our wonderful music teacher, Miss Ferguson, where we sing a range of songs from classic hymns to recent Number Ones in the charts. We endeavour to sing more in the community, after performing at the Briar Hill Nursing Home; perform school concerts to children and parents and make links with other schools to sing in bigger productions.
Most children today have access to the Internet through a variety of different devices, at home and at school - through phones, tablets, games consoles, laptops and PCs. They play games and use apps that allow them to chat with other children, share videos and photos and make in game purchases. A good starting point are these two websites; Child Net and Net-aware.
