This superior Tudor manor house is situated in the pretty English countryside, yet is situated just 15 minutes from Chelmsford and the M11.
A breath-taking Tudor manor house wedding venue set within 40 acres of parkland and gardens. The character in the carriageway is remarkable. The giant oak doors on either side are original, and date back to the 16th century, and the cartwheel chandelier spreads light into space below. The look is completed with the medieval flagstone floor, creating the perfect welcome for your wedding guests.

Attended a wedding here as a guest and it was a great venue, with beautiful old buildings and scenic gardens. We were lucky with the weather and able to spend most of the day outside but the venue is flexible and can accommodate bad weather too. The guest accommodation is tastefully decorated and comfortable. And the food was plentiful and of a high standard. We had a lovely time.
