I recently had a flat tyre, which they promptly assessed and replaced for me. The price was in line with the national chains. A professional and courteous family firm and two friendly dogs also. This is the third time I have used them and would do so again. Highly recommended.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars
They genuinely have made my week. They got me in ASAP to check my car and fixed it within 15 minutes. When other garages said I needed a clutch replacement and quoted me extortionate prices, they fixed it without cost in minutes as I didn't need the new one. The car now drives fantastically and I can't thank them enough for fixing this so I can go home for Christmas!! If you're considering repairs, please use this place

I was given a price inc. of vat. Given a three day completion date for a list of repairs. Three days turned to 7, which turned to about two weeks, which turned to 4 weeks and resulted in 7 weeks. I got my car back after more than 7 weeks with a list of repairs that were supposedly fixed. The original dashboard warning light was still on, the fuel flap was still flapping and the rear windscreen wiper was still not working. So from the original list a seatbelt fault cost me in £962.40 nothing else was touched and with the MOT due now the cost is going to be in excess of £500.00 which is what I

We used the team at Wood Automotive for MOT. They I gave a fantastic service. They found the issues, then recommended appropriate solutions and found people to deliver the solutions. They got all the work done in an impressively timely manner considering what needed sorting.
Moreover they went the extra mile by giving my partner a lift home when the van couldn’t be driven and the delivered the van to our home because I wasn’t able to drive to collect it.
They are a really friendly and approachable bunch who I will recommend to family and friends in the future.

Looking after a friend's car when he emigrated, we were about to sell it when it went wrong on the way to being valeted (it had already been nothing but trouble). It was recovered to Wood Automotive and they fixed it (fuel injection) for us. Really nice people and so helpful. No hesitation in recommending.

Neil made time to replace my alternator and get me back on the road in under a day- just before Christmas and I am so grateful as my support bubble depended on it. He found me a replacement part at the best possible price and considering the time of year, coupled with the global pandemic we find ourselves in, this is the sort of kindness and care we really all need. The price was less than I had expected as mine is an old vehicle and labour costs were totally reasonable- I cannot recommend Neil enough. I called to ask for a price for engine supply and fit for a van. Yes sir, we'll get back to you, said a lady. Sent an email confirming the details. Called a week later to ask why no response and spoke to Neil. He said he'd get onto it. A few days later a call came to say they hadn't forgotten me. The lady said they were looking for an engine. I asked what sort, as I know recon engines are ten a penny (even if they cost a pretty penny) and are available more or less next day. Huffy, the lady said I could supply my own engine if I liked. A week later I emailed to ask for something, a ballpark price
