With golf played here in Scotland for over 600 years we can rightly claim Scotland as "the home of golf". So it is not unusual to find Scotland is the first choice of our international clients' inaugural visit to the UK and Ireland. For golfers who go in search of courses set amongst high dunes and wind swept beaches then Ireland's links golf courses are not only magical but truly memourable. Because of this you do need to be flexible in your travel dates if you are looking to play the big names : Royal Portrush, Royal County Down, Ballybunion, Waterville, Lahinch and Tralee.
Unfairly overshadowed by the courses in Scotland; the links courses south of the border are more than the equal to their Scottish near neighbours. One very important consideration when we book your golf tour is to determine the best form of transportation for your group. Everything from self drive through to helicopter transfers can be arranged for your group. Basically it comes down to whether you want to drive yourself or have your own personal driver and of course how long you actually want to spend travelling.
