Services
We're Edwina & Chris McNulty, the husband and wife team behind Rosewood Cakes which we founded in 2015. We're self-taught, cake-obsessives who gave up careers in HR and Sports Coaching to follow our dream, and now we have to pinch ourselves to see how our lives have turned around!. We love our job, it's such a happy and positive environment to be in, and a real joy to be involved in weddings.
We love creating all manner of wedding cakes - whether you're looking for a wedding cake that is contemporary and minimal, or chic and elegant, or a show-stopping luxe wedding cake that you and your guests will never forget! We never make the same cake twice, all our wedding cake designs are truly bespoke to reflect your personal style.
Our celebration cakes and birthday cakes are different to our wedding cakes in that they are bold, buttercreamed cakes in vivid, on-trend, modern cake designs. Totally instagrammable and with the same unique, beautiful, gourmet, luxe design and flavour you associate with Rosewood Cakes!. They come in beautiful clear gift boxes tied with ribbon, perfect for making an entrance.
We have two seasonal cake menus, with an emphasis on light, fresh and fruity flavours in spring/summer, whereas autumn/winter has more pudding flavours. Our cakes are freshly baked to order using the highest quality ingredients - real unsalted butter, free range eggs, vanilla bean extract and chocolate with a minimum 50% cocoa content.

Chris and Edwina were a joy to work with. They helped us to understand our needs and options, and to navigate through the many options for designs, flavours and budgets. Every interaction we had with Rosewood Cakes was positive - they always responded to our emails and questions quickly and clearly, and their service was both professional and personalised to us. The process of ordering a wedding cake from Rosewood is so easy, Edwina is lovely and goes to great lengths to fully grasp the idea(s) you have in mind and is ready with advice and guidance to make sure you get what you want! Our cake went from a huge 150-200 portions down to 30 thanks to Covid! Edwina and co however made our little cake just as beautiful and show stopping as the big one would have been whist tailoring it to the smaller more intimate wedding that was now taking place. The big thing of Rosewood cakes is that aside from being beautiful they are DELICIOUS! If you are in the market

My husband and I were absolutely delighted with the result of our cake. We provided Edwina with a rough idea and she really exceeded our expectations with the most beautiful design. It fit perfectly with our autumnal theme and the sugar flowers were outstanding. We had a three tier cake, with three different flavours each absolutely delicious. The cake remained moist and delicious even a week after our wedding. We would highly recommend rosewood cakes for any event and would definitely be using them again in the future! ❤️

Rosewood made the cake for our wedding and I can’t recommend them highly enough. It was absolutely gorgeous (strawberry and champagne) and tasted incredible! Nothing was too much trouble for Edwina - she also provided delicious gluten free cupcakes on the side for guests who couldn’t have the main cake. We had to rearrange the wedding due to the pandemic and she managed to fit us in for the new date at pretty short notice, which we really appreciated. She’s also really lovely! Can’t say enough nice things about the whole experience. Thank you :)

We were lucky enough to have Edwina and the team from Rosewood Cakes make our wedding cake this year and it was worth the wait!
It looked incredible and tasted amazing. Edwina recommended a variety of flavours for our cake which meant all of our guests could have something to suit their tastes. In addition Edwina talked us through a variety of options for cake design and decoration before we settled on the final look - nothing was an issue and we enjoyed going through the process.
Edwina also went to the effort of making gorgeous vegan biscoff cupcakes for our guests with dietary requirements

I contacted Edwina to make a surprise 21st birthday cake for my daughter Zara who lives in Glasgow.
As I live in Dublin ,communication was mostly through email.
Edwina was super ,organized everything down to delivery to her flat.
What a surprise it was, the most stunning cake arrived on the day and by all accounts it was outstanding.
She said they all loved it and hadn’t tasted a cake like it ever .

We recently had our wedding cake made by Edwina and Chris at Rosewood Cakes. If you are lucky enough to book them then you are in for a treat. Absolutely delicious!! We had a 3 tier naked cake with strawberry champagne, sticky toffee pudding and lemon blueberry. An absolute delight to work with and we will definitely order from them again!! 5 star company ⭐️

We’ve been back to Rosewood cakes for all our celebration cakes and we will continue to be back… no one can come close to the taste and designs that Rosewood come up with, they are leagues ahead of all other cake designers.
