This is my second visit to this guest house. The house is in a great location 5 mins walk from Keswick centre, off road parking, super clean and comfortable accommodation with all the facilities you need. Excellent breakfast with quality ingredients. Lovely friendly hosts who went out of their way to ensure there was plenty of gluten free food choices available (including delicious homemade cake in the lounge)!! We will definately return for another visit.

Really helpful and friendly owners. Lovely comfy lounge with fresh coffee and tea on the go all the time. Clean and well appointed bedroom with everything you could need, including a little fridge. Cracking breakfast. Guest parking on and just a short walk from the town centre. In summary, a great place to stay.

We recently stayed at Sunnyside while in the area for a friend's wedding which was just round the lake at Lingholm Estate.
Upon arrival we were greeted by the new owners Paul & Nicola who were extremelly pleasant and got us checked in quickly and with no fuss as we were heading back out near enough straight away. Paul showed us to our room (#1 which is a Double En-Suite) which was clean, bright, and well suited to our needs. The bed was comfortable, bathroom clean, and shower actually not too bad considering it was electric. The wardrobe also had plenty of hangers which was great as we had suits

Paul and his family were great hosts willing to put every effort into making my stay (and those of the photography group I was with) enjoyable and successful.
The room was well furnished, clean and bright with everything I could need (including a small bar of Kendal Mint Cake - not good for the waist but delicious).
Breakfast was the standard Full English (meat or vegetarian) with as much tea / coffee / toast as you could want.
Highly recommended.

Paul and Nicky were brilliant from initial contact to our farewell after a great weekend. They’re really friendly and very accommodating.
My room had an incredibly comfortable mattress and pillows, and was beautifully decorated and sparkling clean, as was the en-suite bathroom. The bathroom is well stocked with good quality toiletries including shower gel, shampoo, etc. and the shower was great. The room had a nice selection of tea, coffee, biscuits and of course some Kendal mint cake!
